Description
Newton Beach Park is a Town of Fort Myers Beach Gulf access at 4650 Estero Blvd mid-island — historically the Newton home site with picnic shade, restrooms, and a quieter strand than Times Square. Hurricane Ian destroyed the park buildings; as of 2026 the site functions mainly as paid parking with portable restrooms while a multi-year rebuild is planned. The Gulf beach in front remains a mid-island swim stop between Bowditch and the south island. This is Fort Myers Beach, not Fort Walton Beach. Pay at the kiosk and follow posted rebuild fencing.
