Description
Pass-a-Grille is the small historic district at the south tip of St. Pete Beach. Eighth Avenue is the main street: restaurants, small shops, and a short walk to the Gulf. Buildings stay low, so the beach feels more like a neighborhood than a resort strip.
Park on Gulf Way and the side streets; it is free in many spots but fills by late morning on weekends. Walk to the water rather than circling for a Gulf-front space.
The Gulf here is usually calm and good for a long walk at low tide. There is no big pier scene. If you want nightlife and jet skis, go north to the main St. Pete Beach hotels; stay here for a slower day and dinner on 8th Avenue.

Fine Gulf sand on a narrower, less-raked stretch than the hotel beach to the north. Easy walking at low tide; Gulf Way parking is a short walk from the water.
