Description

John’s Pass is the inlet between Madeira Beach and Treasure Island, with John’s Pass Village on the Madeira side. The village is a boardwalk of tourist shops, fishing charters, and restaurants. The actual beach access is west of Gulf Boulevard, not inside the village itself.

Park in the village garage or lots if you are going to the boardwalk or a charter. For the beach, use the public accesses on Gulf Blvd in Madeira Beach rather than leaving the car in village traffic.

The pass has current. Swim on the guarded beach stretches, not in the inlet. Charters and dolphin trips leave from the village docks; that is the reason this page exists next to the beach listings.
