Lighthouse Beach Park is Sanibel’s east-tip Gulf and bay beach at Point Ybel — home to the historic Sanibel Lighthouse, fishing pier remnants, and the first sand many visitors hit after the causeway. Expect paid parking, restrooms, and strong shelling reputation on the Gulf side; currents near the tip and pier can be stronger than at Bowman’s. It is not Daytona, not Boca Grande’s Port Boca Grande Light, and not Blind Pass — this is Sanibel’s lighthouse money beach. Arrive early; the lot fills on peak days.
